Pietro Bianchi, etnomusicologo. é un personaggio che ha ormai un posto di grande rilievo nella riproposta della musica tradizionale europea.

Pietro Bianchi founded in 1974 together with musicians from Brittany, Cornwall and Lyonesse their training in France where he played the piano, harpsichord and violin. Passionately to ethnic music from around the world, in 1975 he enrolled at the Paris and studied musicology, Eastern traditions (with Tran Van Khe), Africa (with Marcel Laloum) and ethnology ( with Dyan Rey). In Rome, a member of the Swiss Villa Ludovisi, follows a course with Carpitella Diego, teacher and friend. While in uninterrupted concert activity, he began a long research in the popular song: first in Berry, and Creuze Corrèze, then moved permanently in Canton Ticino, the subject of the thesis Maîtrise.
