About a boy - a boy (Chris and Paul Weitz)
A well-constructed comedy and a good star Hugh Grant
Sometimes watching this film to give a superficial view and relegate him to the film "already seen". Not so: there are several details that convinced us otherwise. In the foreground characters, which are well built with their true personalities and not caricatures, with the best characterizations, of course, for the protagonists, Will (Hugh Grant) and Marcus (Nicholas Hoult).
The story, taken from the book by Nick Hornby A boy tells of Will, a thirty shoulders with numerous but brief reports, which is particularly attractive and appealing to the lifestyle of the single with a child. So he began to attend a single circle with children and pretending to be himself to win any of the participants. Will eventually know Fiona and her son Marcus that disrupt their lives.
really be appreciated throughout the film the richness of the characters, their history, their beliefs that make them "alive." It seems at times to be in to work by Ferzan Ozpetek, for his typical power to create groups of friends become really in the family. It is also very diverse people, as happens in The Ignorant Fairies, here too the final scene with the hippie mom son halfway between hippie and sportswear maker, the volunteer International Third World, Will the middle class, middle class and his new girlfriend the spoiled son, a very short view of the diversity that makes the hot amosfera.
Note how Hugh Grant is really well suited to-nothing, living annuity, womanizer, but then it grows, along with Marcus: they evolve along both the course of events for him to stay close and take something from each 'friend.
