Il trionfo di Cittadini uniti e Oderzo safe

Poi sono arrivati loro, appunto, questi rompi scatole dell’Ulivo e della Lega, e subito giù di peste e corna contro il nostro povero Sindaco: ” Consigli-show: l’Ulivo rinuncia alla paga ”(Tribuna 3/3/07) “ Consigli comunali improduttivi, Lega e Ulivo uniti contro il sindaco ”(Gazzettino 4/3/07).
Addirittura avevano rinunciato, in segno di protesta verso le tante, troppe feste e festine tenutesi in consiglio, al gettone di presenza a cui hanno diritto i consiglieri.
E come non ricordare, allora, le parole del capogruppo di “Cittadini uniti”, Marco Rebecca, che bollava senza riserve questa posizione come “ demagogica, ridicola, trattandosi di appena 20 euro a seduta .”(Tribuna 4/3/07). Ma dopotutto c’è da capirlo, lui è un avvocato e si sa che gli avvocati per meno di 200 euro non muovono un dito, neanche simbolicamente (ius est ars lucrativa…).
Senza poi dimenticare la capogruppo di “Oderzo sicura”, Francesca Ginaldi: “ Mi domando cosa abbiano fatto i consiglieri dell’Ulivo dalle 21.40 a mezzanotte e venti dello scorso consiglio. Capisco l’abitudine di discutere di argomenti politici per fare baruffa, ma la scelta di allargare la partecipazione credo sia funzionale a creare l’abitudine nei cittadini ad assistere ai consigli “(Tribuna 4/3/07). Eh già, brutto il confronto di idee, anche vivace, magari con accesi scambi di battute. Meglio lasciarle stare le “baruffe” e puntare sui brindisi che mettono tutti d’accordo!
Ah, per chi ancora non lo sapesse o non l’avesse intuito, “Cittadini united "and" safe Oderzo " are the two majority groups who support the Mayor Peter from Liberia.

Stando al racconto di Dalla Libera il dialogo tra lui e il Prefetto si è svolto così:” All'inizio ho avuto come l'impressione che il signor Prefetto non riuscisse a capire di cosa stavamo parlando.[…] Sindaco, mi ha detto, se avessi avuto dei dubbi o delle perplessità, quanto meno le avrei scritto o l'avrei mandata a chiamare. ” (Gazzettino 21/2/08).
Non posso saperlo, ma credo che alla fine della telefonata il nostro povero Sindaco abbia fatto un profondo respiro di sollievo.
Il 26 febbraio il Gazzettino continua sull’argomento. Nell’articolo sono presenti alcuni appelli(già presenti nell’articolo del 20 febbraio) al presidente del consiglio comunale, Bucciol, che, come è noto, nel gestire le discussioni del consiglio ha il potere “ di togliere la parola quando è necessario. Vorremmo che questa facoltà la esercitasse con tutti, sindaco compreso, dato che il nostro primo cittadino in consiglio comunale è in perenne campagna elettorale ”(Martin).
Sempre Martin, in risposta ad una lettera di alcuni genitori dei bambini delle scuole elementari Parise, che ritenevano che i figli non fossero stati ben accolti in consiglio, dice:” Quanto alle scolaresche in consiglio, noi siamo favorevoli alla loro presenza. Esiste il "Consiglio comunale dei Ragazzi", iniziativa che in altri Comuni viene attuata. Proponiamo venga svolta anche ad Oderzo, condotta dai ragazzi ”. E questa sì è una proposta interessante, perché “consigliare” fa sempre molto bene!

Ben venga la partecipazione dei cittadini alla vita politica della città attraverso la presenza ai consigli, sono il primo a dirlo e da tempi non sospetti. Ma ciò può avere un senso se le discussioni alle quali assistono vengono riempite di sostanza. Non è questo il caso di premiazioni, di feste e via dicendo.
La “campagna elettorale permanente”, ecco quella è la vera vecchia politica.
