Onestà e libertà
Ho sempre creduto che una delle cose più importanti in una persona sia la sua onestà intellettuale. Nessuno dice che un’idea deve essere giusta e un’altra idea deve essere sbagliata. Se così fosse ci troveremo di fronte ad una dittatura. Ma per fortuna oggi non è così.
Viviamo, dopo terribili esperienze passate, in un Paese che fa della democrazia e della libertà di manifestazione del pensiero dei valori imprescindibili.

Senza onestà intellettuale si diventa schiavi di qualcuno o qualcosa. Senza onestà intellettuale non si è liberi.

I want, in conclusion, write in the words of one of the "free spirits" bigger and undeservedly remembered less of our country, a journalist and writer that I admire and would always say with pride " amicus Plato, magis friend veritas "(Plato is my friend, but I have more friends the truth), Guareschi:
