CONTINI RE DEL CERUSA !!! Sunday, May 11 we held the first provincial championship race of the archipelago stream trout fishing in the waters of the river Cerusa. The sowing was carried out Saturday at 13:00 with 50 kg of brown trout from the herd "Fantini" Novara (sown in Cerusa for the first time). The upcoming morning, the competitors gathered from the bridge bruxinetti from where they were left free to inspect the competition area. The trout were distributed very well, but while the top and bottom were not visible in the central part were almost all on sight. This factor, as often happens, was decisive at the time of departure, in fact most of the 13 competitors have gone to position themselves in that stretch, scaring the fish, who ate much less than in the rest of the sector. I personally have followed agonists lower Formis namely, Pitto, Bozzano and especially Contini, that making the most of the buckshot from 8 (despite some inevitable grounding) has launched ad una serie di catture entusiasmanti,prendendo subito il largo. Nella parte alta si distingueva alla grande Safà Mancuso, autore nel finale di alcune splendide catture a corona. Dopo circa un ora e mezza le posizioni sembravano già ben delineate soprattutto per i primi due posti,mentre per le altre piazze abbiamo assistito ad una bellissima sfida che ha compreso quasi tutti gli altri agonisti. Alle 10.30, al fischio finale, meritatissimo successo di Contini con 21 pesci,seguito da Safà Mancuso con 16, quindi 3°Pitto e 4° e 5° i due intramontabili Canu e Silenzi. Dopo la premiazione e dopo aver ricevuto i complimenti da parte di tutti i partecipanti per il nostro campo gara(e per come hanno mangiato i pesci veramente belli !!!) appuntamento for the second round June 22 at home Silence (Apples) with much regret on my part for not having seen any of my guys in the race ....
